Above is a Justin Dailey film I was an extra in. I'm the dude with the long hair and white wife-beater shirt in the back. Later I get a drink thrown in my face. Also, that's my boot at the end of the scene...it gets more screen time than my face did! :-) The star is the well-know Mr. Rafael Siegel. You may have seen him as a host of "Good Morning Sacramento". Mr. Whitecloud Frease is a powerful presence as the Vampire. He was chilling in person...it was hard to remember he was just playing a character :-)
Above is a still from another Justin Dailey film I briefly appeared in with some of the same characters from the "The Void." The film is titled, "The Wrath". I play "Shade," a supernatural criminal overlord in a Gotham-esque city. A really fun project, but never released. Below are some unfinished scenes of the same film. This is a really rough cut, so tons of technical work was never completed, thus sound effects, mixing, finished editing were never added, and there is a lot of static, background noises, inconsistent volume issues, and other unfinished characteristics, but you get the gist...enjoy :-) You can see my first scene from 01:25 - 20:13, and my second scene from 20:08 - 22:03.
About NEON WATSON:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
NEON WATSON fell in love with the entertainment business in 1966, with a keen affinity for blues and rock music. He also is working on a pre/post apocalyptic novel, and he dabbles with minor acting roles in various indie films.
NEON WATSON is best known for his songwriting and vocal performances in the blues genre. He has a soulful, gritty song style that audiences everywhere love. His brutally honest musical stories strike a nerve in listeners everywhere with authentic, gut-wrenching lyrics everyone can relate to.
After decades of working and performing with various acts, NEON WATSON ultimately recruited a group of Central California musicians and formed "NEON WATSON AND THE FLUORESCENTS" to create the dynamic and powerful all-original 2011 debut electric blues album "THE BLUES CAN ALWAYS SING MY PAIN".
Although the album was moderately received on international Internet radio stations in 24 countries, it never really caught on in the US. The album is still on rotation at a traditional radio station in Poland, due to the Eastern European market's fascination with American Indigenous music; blues always being a favorite. The band disbanded in 2012.
Next came the DELTA BLUE BLOOD BAND, "swamp rock" at it's finest. It had a meteoric rise, garnishing over 38000 followers, but suddenly disbanded in September of 2015.
These days you can find NEON WATSON on the occasional Friday or Saturday evening around the Miracle Mile in Stockton CA working as a street musician. He can also be found at various Central CA open microphone/stage venues mingling with local entertainers, and he occasionally performs at bars, farmers markets, public festivals, wineries, brewpubs, and private functions. New bands and projects are always under way.
